Meet Juli
Juli Beta is the stage name of Juliana Betancur, a Colombian singer, guitarist and songwriter who now calls Perth home. Her songwriting has earned an award for Colombian folk composition.
She performs with just her voice and acoustic guitar, which keeps the sound warm and personal and lets her fit into almost any space, from a chapel to a backyard. Her repertoire moves easily between five languages, so multicultural families and international guests all hear something that feels like home.
She is as comfortable leading songs at a mass as she is getting a whole room singing along at a birthday.
